Rolling waves. Their rounded shapes make an appearance in many spots in this building. The bar with its stone top and wooden panelling is also curved, as are the upholstered benches, armchairs and side tables. Most striking are the wave-like wooden panels on the ceiling, which both structure the rooms and are a gentle design element.
Shapes and colours. Colours taken from nature such as green, grey and beige combine to create a pleasant harmony. A few well-chosen home accessories subtly emphasise the ambience.
The magic of fabrics. Materials play a special role in the design concept. Many fabrics with a special feel were used, such as velour for the bench, bouclé for the armchairs and loden fabrics for the floor-to-ceiling curtains in the suites.
